I began my career in the field in 2007 as a peer support volunteer at PROMIS Treatment Centre in London, accompanying patients to 12 step meetings and later assisting therapists in process groups as a co-facilitator. I completed my training placement at The Priory Hospital North London in 2008 whilst obtaining my Masters degree at London South Bank University.

In 2009, I was employed as a counsellor and then the manager at The Kairos Aftercare Programme, a charity in South London which supports vulnerable people in their recovery from addictive disorders. Alongside this role, I opened a part-time private practice at Kingyo Therapy in London before moving to Paris in 2011.

As some of my clients in London preferred to continue our work together, I undertook training to provide teletherapy as per BACP guidelines and began working online and via telephone. I continued to work in person, providing therapy to adolescents and adults in the Paris anglophone community and offering group workshops on the topics of codependence, body image and love addiction. I began working exclusively online when I lived in Tel Aviv between 2015 and 2017, and have endeavoured to adapt my practice to comply with the highest standards of care and regulation as this modality has gained popularity and application.
